Urgent appointments for today
We have a Duty Team available every day for acute problems. Appointments can be booked over the phone or in person. You will be triaged by the team and offered an on-the-day appointment if needed. Although an appointment time is given this is only a guide and there may be a wait if the doctor has an emergency to deal with.

Sickness Certificates (Fit Notes)
You must give your employer a doctor's 'fit note' (sometimes called a 'sick note') if you've been ill for more than 7 days in a row and have taken sick leave. This includes non-working days, such as weekends and bank holidays.

Home Visits
House visits are only available for patients who are housebound because of illness.
If you need a home visit, you can help us by calling reception before 10:30am.

A doctor or nurse may phone you back as it may be that your problem can be dealt with by telephone advice.
Please remember that several patients can be seen in the practice in the time that it takes to make one home visit. There are also better facilities for examining and treating patients at the surgery.
Change or cancel an appointment
Please give us as much notice as possible so we can offer your appointment to someone else.
To cancel your appointment:

Out of hours
Enhanced Access: Evening and Weekend Appointments
Patients who are registered at this practice can now book appointments to see a GP or nurse during the evening or a Saturday morning.
Saturday morning surgery appointments are for routine appointments only.
This service is being run by our federation group Mid Hampshire Healthcare and will be open as follows:
- Tuesday and Thursday, 6:30pm to 8:30pm
- Saturday, 9am to 5pm
All appointments must be booked via the surgery, see our appointments page to book
Life Threatening
Call 999 or go to A&E now if:
- you or someone you know needs immediate help
- you have seriously harmed yourself – for example, by taking a drug overdose
A mental health emergency should be taken as seriously as a medical emergency.
Urgent But Not Life Threatening
Visit an urgent care centre if:
- You have an urgent medical issue requiring on the day attention
Non-urgent
Use NHS 111 if:
- You need help now, but it’s not an emergency
There will be someone to provide you with advice and to direct you to a clinician if it is necessary.
